We are astarios GmbH– a company specialized in building remote development teams with industry-focused engineers. Founded by Reto Kaeser from Switzerland and Andreas Lepenets from Ukraine, astarios helps businesses to grow by setting up dedicated teams of IT specialists that simply nail it.
By the summer of 2016, Reto, who had spent over 30 years working as a lead developer for Swiss-based technological companies, had been facing the lack of qualified local professionals, time and time again. At the same time, Andreas received his MBA and having spent more than 10 years taking care of Engagement management for the Top-3 Ukrainian outsourcing companies, had developed a clear vision that the right way to succeed in his local market, is by building a transparent team-oriented business that is able to connect clients with tech talents that matched both their soft and hard skills.
Finding common ground, Andreas and Reto started to build a team of niche experts by opening their first R&D office in Kyiv. With Reto having an extensive background in the Security, IoT, FinTech, AI, and Machine learning industries, our company started focusing on software development services, staff augmentation, and security testing. Today, astarios is a trusted partner of many businesses from the Energy, Big Data, FinTech, and AI domains.
